First unveiled in 1987, 'Rocket' seed potatoes are favoured for their rapid growth and sizeable, consistent yields. Exhibiting white skin and flesh, they have a mild taste and shallow eyes. Resistant to common diseases like blackleg and scab, it's advised to harvest Rockets early to prevent tuber cracking. These potatoes are cherished for their quick cultivation and substantial yield.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Each potato should be 25cm from the next and 15cm deep, with rows spaced 60cm apart. Always make sure the eyes are facing upwards.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Water well in dry spells. Keep weed free.

HARVESTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Harvest June-July. Dig up mature potatoes and store them in a cool, dry and dark location. Potatoes can be stored for several months. Tip: when harvesting, remove all foliage and small potatoes from the soil and discard, to avoid diseases on next year’s crop.
