Sharpes Express are a great tasting spud and good potato to plant for an early harvest.

First Early varieties generally are ready to harvest 10 – 12 weeks after planting, with the traditional planting time being March – April. Sharpes potatoes has good resistance to common scab.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Each potato should be 25cm from the next and 15cm deep, with rows spaced 60cm apart. Always make sure the eyes are facing upwards.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Water well in dry spells. Keep weed free.

HARVESTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Harvest June-July. Dig up mature potatoes and store them in a cool, dry and dark location. Potatoes can be stored for several months. Tip: when harvesting, remove all foliage and small potatoes from the soil and discard, to avoid diseases on next year’s crop.
